Our 8th annual Shoney’s 5K Family Fun Run & Walk is set to take place May 7, 2016! We are excited to continue our support for the Metropolitan Nashville Police Support Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee. To date we’ve raised nearly $150,000, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the support fund.
The fund is designed to augment the Department’s ability to access the best in education, training, technology, communication, outreach and community partnership. Join us in our goal to make our lives and community safe!

Last Year's Results
At the conclusion of the 5K, a buffet breakfast will be served in Lot T as part of one of the best post-race festivals in the city. The festival will feature fantastic live music, random drawings, a display of police vehicles & equipment and fun activities for the kids including face painting, giant inflatables, a balloon artist, caricature artist, an appearance by Shoney Bear and so much more.
This year's national anthem will be performed by the Nashville Police Department's own Sgt. Clifton Knight. Sgt. Knight is in his 11th year as a member of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department; he was promoted to sergeant in February 2015 and currently serves as a supervisor on the South Precinct’s overnight shift. Sgt. Knight is also a proud member of the MNPD’s award winning Drill & Ceremony Team and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.
